Commission Painting and Pricing

Yes, I do take commissions.

Infantry are $15 a model, regardless of size, up to 32mm round base.
Large Infantry and Cavalry are $30 a model, up to 50mm round base.
Extra Large Infantry are $45 a model, up to 60mm round base.
Vehicles are based on size:
$150 for 40k dread sized (60mm base)
$200 for 40k Rhino chassis or similar, smaller fliers (Storm Talon)
$400 for 40k Land Raider, larger fliers (Storm Raven).
Forge World and Collossals - prices vary

These prices include all assembly and basing. If you already have models assembled, primed, or want to do the basing yourself, please contact me and we can talk about reducing the price.

What you get for your money - models will be cleaned of any mold lines and flash, assembled, primed, painted, based, and matte varnished for protection. Will always be beyond the 3 color minimum for tournaments, and will include the little details that we all want. I will paint an army for you that I would be proud to play with myself. I will do custom color schemes, as well as traditional "from the book" schemes. I only have one level, and that is fully painted.

About Me

I paint models and have been doing it since I was 12. Over the years I have learned tons of tricks and painted loads of models. I have ran a very successful Miniatures studio, and owned a Retail Game Store. After closing those, I decided to get a little smaller with the operation and I am back to a one man show.

Woot - Saturday gaming and Space Wolves

Got to get a game in today.  Timothy provided a rather stout Noise Marine army list, but the changes I made to the Ork list made a ton of improvements to the playability of the greenskins.  Large units are great except they are unruly and hard to maneuver.  Switched to 12 man units and this helped as it allowed me to better spread out my troops to either react of hunt down objectives.  The Psyker didn't do much, but I think i under played him. warboss and nobz with a painboy is just broken.......

So anywhoo - After the game Timothy and I talked about our proposed trade deal and realizing the volume of what I had laying around for Chaos Marines, we brokered a better deal for me.  1 truck and 1 wolf pack box for the 10 man Chaos Squad, Possessed, 3-5 spawn, and a partially Defiler - oh yeah and all of the chaos bits I had laying around.  Plus the partially painted lord I worked on last year and never finished.  A good deal for him, but good for me too.

Had already put together the list I wanted to play, but decided to change it up a bit as I was not too hot on the drop pods idea.  I chose, instead to field only 1 Grey Hunters pack, and was able to build the Wolf Lord with Wolf Claws and the 10 man unit of Grey Hunters out of what I had.  Took the partially painted Rhino that I had laying around and painted it up for my soon to be Wolves Army.

Here is my Wolf Lord - Bjorn Russvik

I stuck with a grey color scheme instead of a Shadow grey color scheme like the other wolves I have seen.  I used Iron Hull Grey (P3) as the base.

Used a mix of standard Marine parts (legs and from of torso), old school Wolves kit (Backpack and torso back), and new Wolves kit (arms, should pad, belt device and helm)

The new kit came with this killer helm. There are 2 of them in the New Wolves Kit.  Seeing as I need 3 more wolf pack boxes to complete the army, I am going to hang onto the rest to make an IronWolf Guard unit for larger games down the road.

Interested to see how this list will play out.  Not a lot of flavor, other than a Space Wolf Armored Spearhead, but hey, It'll hit like a hammer

I had a question about the paint scheme. You based with Iron Hull but I see a hint of blue in the model, what other colors did you use on the power armor? Thanks!

Hello, I noticed that you based with Ironhull grey, but I see a hint of blue in the power armor. Did you use any other colors on the power armor? Thanks.

Just a base coat of Iron Hull with a wash of Badab Black. Might be because I use true blue bulbs in my lamps.

Funny, when I was looking at some of the models under natural lights, the grey does have a bit of a blue tinge to it. I think this is because the Ironhull grey has a heavy bluish tint to it.....
