Yes, I do take commissions.

Large Infantry and Cavalry are $30 a model, up to 50mm round base.
Extra Large Infantry are $45 a model, up to 60mm round base.
Vehicles are based on size:
$150 for 40k dread sized (60mm base)
$200 for 40k Rhino chassis or similar, smaller fliers (Storm Talon)
$400 for 40k Land Raider, larger fliers (Storm Raven).
Forge World and Collossals - prices vary

These prices include all assembly and basing. If you already have models assembled, primed, or want to do the basing yourself, please contact me and we can talk about reducing the price.

What you get for your money - models will be cleaned of any mold lines and flash, assembled, primed, painted, based, and matte varnished for protection. Will always be beyond the 3 color minimum for tournaments, and will include the little details that we all want. I will paint an army for you that I would be proud to play with myself. I will do custom color schemes, as well as traditional "from the book" schemes. I only have one level, and that is fully painted.

About Me

I paint models and have been doing it since I was 12. Over the years I have learned tons of tricks and painted loads of models. I have ran a very successful Miniatures studio, and owned a Retail Game Store. After closing those, I decided to get a little smaller with the operation and I am back to a one man show.

Woot Wartraks and Ork Infantry All done!

So yesterday, among running between children, I painted the last 5 Nobz.  Tonight, going into my 3 DAY WEEKEND, I painted the last of the Boyz (11) and the last Wartrak for my 1750 point list.  That leaves 2 Nobz (1 converted to have a warbanner), Looted Rhino, 2 Looted Baneblades, and 7 more DeffKoptas to go and I am all done.  Will call GW in the morning to find out about my cancelling my Eschers and changing the order out to a Trukk.instead.  So for my 2k list, I can roll 12 more Boyz up in a regular truck, possibly with a Big Mek thrown in for Kustom Force Field.  Who knows?

'Ere we go 'Ere we go 'Ere we go 'Ere we go

Yep, 1 sick and throwing up child and one that cannot sleep will just make your life more interesting. Seeing as how Cass could not get to bed to at lease 130 am, getting up at 5 unassisted is going to be a challenge, so I get to stay up and get her out of bed, the I get to go to bed. Since I am up, I am working on some Boyz......Namely trying to complete some Nobz. I am working on 5 of them, and the total squad will number 10, BUT I am short 3 Nobz until Friday evening. So I am getting these done so maybe Corey and I can scrounge a 1750 point game on Saturday. I got the list laid out, so now all i need is JLongo's Ork trade to complete this beast of an army.
Below is the list for 1750 points:
HQ: Warboss (1#, 105 Pts)
1 Warboss @ 105 Pts
Troops: Nobz (10#, 340 Pts)
10 Nobz @ 340 Pts
Heavy Support: Battlewagon (1#, 210 Pts)
1 Battlewagon @ 210 Pts
Troops: 'Ard Boyz (20#, 230 Pts)
19 'Ard Boyz @ 230 Pts
1 'Ard Boyz Nob @ [30] Pts
Heavy Support: Battlewagon (1#, 150 Pts)
1 Battlewagon @ 150 Pts
Troops: Boyz (12#, 97 Pts)
11 Boyz @ 97 Pts
1 Boyz Nob @ [26] Pts
Heavy Support: Looted Wagon (1#, 70 Pts)
1 Looted Wagon @ 70 Pts
Fast Attack: Warbuggies (3#, 140 Pts)
1 Warbuggies @ 140 Pts
1 Wartrakk @ [50] Pts
1 Wartrakk @ [45] Pts
1 Wartrakk @ [45] Pts
Fast Attack: Deffkoptas (5#, 225 Pts)
5 Deffkoptas @ 225 Pts
Fast Attack: Deffkoptas (5#, 175 Pts)
Total Roster Cost: 1742

Not too shabby for an army cobbled together with stuff I got from AOBR and buying 1 box of boys.

Heh, no 4am my ass........

Okay, so I wasn't up painting until 4am......I did a little modeling too.......

The Cunnin' Plan -

Okay, so want to use my FW Baneblade as a battle wagon.  The BB took a bad hit during my most recent moves, and was pretty tore up.  Already fixed the track, and now to make it so that the Nobz can ride into the thick of it with the Boss in his Big Bad 'Urty Trukk

Mock up template

Plasticard platforms

Wire mesh (for dry wall patching)

Assorted parts used

Finished platforms

Side 1 completed (sort of)

A better look at side 1

Both sides done (sort of)

havok brought up a good point about transportability.  This is already a large model.  Larger than most production pieces by GW.  If i hard mount the platforms, it makes this thing downright unGodly to carry around to game.  Plan is to rig up a magnetic mount to allow me to add and remove these at will.

As for the "sort of" part of the descriptions, no self respecting Ork would ride into combat on a vehicle not suitably decorated.  I have an assortment of Space Marine icon plaques, random Chaos bits, a few Tau pieces, etc to mount before I can call it done. However, first things, i have to make sure the armor is secured with some "extra wotnots" and rivets!  I will try to scrounge up some plasticard rods to make some tubing out of, and then cut some plasticard strips to use as rivet plates.  This should go over pretty well on Saturday at Empire, seeing as how I should get to drop it on the table for a game or two!

Woot Wartrakk #2 finished

Okay, wartrakk # 2 finished.  I promised myself I would not be up until 4am painting again, so here is the finished product.

For the last Trakk, I am going to wait until i finish off the trade deal with Jlongo at Adeptus Arizona.......Need to replace the Big Shoota ork cause the one I have now is all fuggered up from a clogging primer nozzle......

Wartraxx Successfully converted

So being that the existing Wartrak models are based on the old Gorka Morka models, I used some extra boys to convert the drivers into something looking like the current range. I also converted the weapons out of some spare space marine stuff I had. The weapons on the old wartrax are pretty lame looking, so I converted twin linked bigshootas out of heavy bolters, and twin linked rokkits out of missile launcher pods from a landspeeder. I updated the gunner crew to be holding an extra bigshoota or rokkit launcha. Throw on some odd orky bits and they look just fine now. I will be getting them primed and painted up here in the next few days. Will also work on the Deff Koptas........The orks are starting to finally shape up.

Sigh.......Broken models

So after completing my Math final on saturday (got an 87%) I started trying to piece together my Ork Battlewagon. I have a Maximillian Weissman Baneblade from Forgeworld that was converted by Joe Whitlock a long time ago......During my recent moves, the Baneblade took a nasty fall, and I have lost a few of the pieces......Namely about 3 inches of track, a Heavy Bolter turret, and a Large Roadwheel. I have replaced the large roadwheel with a random metal wagon wheel from a skorcha track. I need 3 inches of something to use for tracks........My bits aren't what they used to be, so I will be scrounging from friends to find some stuff to make the tracks out of. AS for the missing turret, I reall do not need it, so I will relocate another turret there. Now the big idea is to use it as a battlewagon with a killcannon, allowing it to only carry 12 models. Namely, Nobz and Warboss Gobsmasha. I'll use some plasticard and bits to make 2 platforms for the sides to have a place to put the Boss and hiz Boys. All in all, the only part giving me fits is that tracks......But then again, anything will work since it's an ork vehicle and they will use anything to make it work.........

Heavy heart - no more WOW

In an attempt to get back on teh painting bandwagon and dwindling interest, I am again shutting off my WOW account. I have some VC to paint for Bill (Sorry Dude!) and a large tyranid army to concentrate on, plus 1500 points of three different armies, and Necromunda stuff coming soon. Intend to actually DO something on my free time instead of just slaying pixellated monsters
