Mini Painting Pricing
Tired of "levels” for your models? So am I.
I am a miniature painter that is a gamer first. I know that it is expensive to play the games and you should be able to get nice looking models, at a real low price, without being forced to send them to Singapore. I also think you shouldn't have to pay out the nose for nice looking models.
How my Contract Pricing Works:
Painting - Is based off the MSRP Retail cost of the unit
*Example - I charge $37.25 to paint a 10 man boxed squad of Space Marines.
Assembly / Priming - Basing / Matte Varnishing
* Standard Infantry - $1 Per Model
* Large Base Infantry, cavalry, and light warjacks - $2 Per Model
* Large Monsters or warjacks - $4 Per Model
* Vehicles - $10 Per Model
Example of how this works
* Space Marine Tac Squad - $37.25
* Assembly and Priming - $20
* Painting - $37.25
* Basing and Matte Varnishing - $20
Total for a painted squad with me providing models - $114.50. With you providing the models - $77.25.
Save a few bucks by assembling and priming yourself, you can also matte varnish and base them yourself*. Of course you have to let me know if you are assembling, priming, basing and varnishing yourself beforehand. Special considerations will have to be made (like not mounting the riders on cav models) so that the models can be painted thoroughly.
Characters are based on time, and I charge per hour based on the MSRP retail of the model.
Example: Logan Grimnar Finecast is $22.50. You want me to do the whole thing. Assembly, primer, basing, and matte varnish is $4.00. I quote 6 hours to paint. Total for the model is $139.
You do not have to have your characters painted this way, and this method should be reserved for special characters and centerpieces for your army.
I am also open to trade product for services. I prefer unopened product I need, but never hurts to ask :)
