Commission Painting and Pricing

Yes, I do take commissions.

Infantry are $15 a model, regardless of size, up to 32mm round base.
Large Infantry and Cavalry are $30 a model, up to 50mm round base.
Extra Large Infantry are $45 a model, up to 60mm round base.
Vehicles are based on size:
$150 for 40k dread sized (60mm base)
$200 for 40k Rhino chassis or similar, smaller fliers (Storm Talon)
$400 for 40k Land Raider, larger fliers (Storm Raven).
Forge World and Collossals - prices vary

These prices include all assembly and basing. If you already have models assembled, primed, or want to do the basing yourself, please contact me and we can talk about reducing the price.

What you get for your money - models will be cleaned of any mold lines and flash, assembled, primed, painted, based, and matte varnished for protection. Will always be beyond the 3 color minimum for tournaments, and will include the little details that we all want. I will paint an army for you that I would be proud to play with myself. I will do custom color schemes, as well as traditional "from the book" schemes. I only have one level, and that is fully painted.

About Me

I paint models and have been doing it since I was 12. Over the years I have learned tons of tricks and painted loads of models. I have ran a very successful Miniatures studio, and owned a Retail Game Store. After closing those, I decided to get a little smaller with the operation and I am back to a one man show.

Day 5 update - Assembly bags done!

Assembly Bags
Okay, so the reasons of the assembly bag is this:
  1. Transportability - Easier to tote baggies than loads of sprue. Finished models can be wrapped in paper towels and repacked into a larger baggie
  2. Make sure I have the parts I need without losing bits off the sprues
  3. Keeps me focused on the task at hand - Painting 26 models in 2.5 days could be a train wreck waiting to happen
So this is the easy part. All you need is some ziplock bags, your clippers and your parts
Layout your squads so you know what you are going to clip. Get the parts settled in for each of your models and the sling them in the baggie. Mark them with a Sharpie, and you are all set!

*note - I have found I am one model short of 10 Possessed. I have added all but the legs for the 10th model into the baggie, in hopes that Adam will have an extra set of Marine legs laying around.

A few notes for the day -
  1. To make up ground for the lost 2 days, I have started assembling some of the other units. Currently, I have the new Termie squad all converted and assembled (using parts from Imperial Termies, and Leftover bits from Chaos Termies.
  2. The army list is about to change. In looking at the other Chaos Termies I have, the older ones are begging for a mark of Khorne........hehehehe. That will also allow me to summon them off of the Berzerkers to add to weight of my assaulting force. The Plague Marines are good, but can take no heavy weapons, so I may change them out to Chaos Marines Squads with Heavy Bolters. Not quite sure yet, but I probably need to figure that out soon.
  3. I also have a squad of Dark Angel Marines that were slated to become "Fallen Angels for my Word Bearors army. These may make their way in as some Chosen Chaos Marines, or possibly just another squad of Chaos Marines. Not entirely sure on that one yet either.
  4. Did some Ebay research on painted armies selling. Looks like the market is not too hot right now, but I may just post them up and see if I can net a good $800 to $1000 on this army once completed. If not, I'll just hang on to it. Who knows when I am going to want to play again :)

No guarentees on the legs dude. All my models are assembled as far as I know. If I get a chance, I will dig around and see what maybe lying around.
